About this Resource
Amistad runs community recovery centers and offers Recovery Coaching and other supports in Greater Portland and in Sagadahoc and Lincoln counties. In Portland, Amistad offers MAT-supportive Recovery Residences, and partners with Northern Light Mercy Hospital to provide Rapid Access to MAT in the emergency department.
Amistad learns from and supports the people most impacted by systems failures that result in addiction, mental illness, poverty, hunger, and homelessness, and
collectively works toward the transformation of those systems. Our programs are all low barrier, harm reduction-focused, community centered, and relationship-based.
