Maine Recovery Fund

Maine Recovery Fund (MERF) provides community support to people in recovery seeking to re-enter the workforce and to re-establish a productive life. MaineWorks provides jobs, while the Maine Recovery Fund provides wraparound services, housing & transportation, and tools & training that bridge the gap between hopelessness and resiliency.

The Maine Recovery Fund is responding to two concurrent and vital national issues: substance use disorder and hyper-incarceration. The time is now to support a holistic approach that includes career counseling, employment, affordable housing, access to social services, financial literacy and educational opportunities. We partner with regional government, non-profit and social service organizations.
