General population

**NEW (Tuesday, May 14)**: Admissions to Milestone’s new detox and outpatient treatment facility at 10 Andover Rd., Portland are now open. Interested clients can call 207-775-4790, ext. 115 between 7am and 7pm for a phone screening.

The mission of Milestone Recovery is to provide the best quality of services to empower individuals with substance use and behavioral health disorders to attain stability, dignity, recovery and an enhanced quality of life. Services include: emergency shelter, medically managed detoxification, community-based outreach and health services, housing assistance, and long-term treatment.

Detox Program

3-7 day detox program serving Maine residents of any gender, including those without insurance. For information or admissions, contact the nursing department at 207-775-4790, ext. 111.

Residential Treatment

6-9 month residential treatment serving men only. Wait list times can vary. To inquire about current wait and/or arrange program screening, contact Eugene McLaughlin at emclaughlin@milestone-recovery.org or 207-937-7001.

Emergency Shelter

Emergency homeless shelter serving men experiencing substance use. Contact shelter staff at 207-775-4790, ext. 117 or email Director of Homeless Services Joe McNally at jmcnally@milestone-recovery.org.

HOME Team

Mobile outreach program providing empowering, compassionate, no-cost care for Mainers experiencing homelessness, mental health issues, and/or substance use disorders. Provides situation de-escalation, transportation, and basic needs. Currently available 9:00am-9:00pm, Monday through Friday. To request service, call 207-838-8904.
