Northern Light Acadia Hospital’s Substance Use Services is an outpatient substance abuse treatment program utilizing evidence-based therapeutic and Medication Assisted Treatments. SUS is just one part of a wide range of inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use services available at this facility. You will be encouraged to participate in other programs if needed to support your ongoing rehabilitation. Treatment is rooted in creating a positive atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Our team members are highly skilled and very knowledgeable professionals dedicated to making this a successful program for you and assisting you in obtaining a solid recovery from addiction.

Note: Substance Use Services are provided at our Bangor hospital. Counties served is only limited by the patient’s ability to travel. We typically serve patients from Aroostook, Piscataquis, Penobscot, Hancock, Somerset, and Waldo Counties.
